Deutsche Lesegruppe

The German Book club was founded in 2007 by myself and a group of students from a German language evening course at the University. We meet one Monday evening most months at 18.30 at Duttons Bar in Chester to chat together in German and discuss a pre-selected German novel, play or short story.

We speak German at different levels and enjoy helping and encouraging each other. We read a wide range of literature , though mostly modern novels, on all subjects and have achieved a very impressive, if not eclectic reading list.
